Serving the City of Chicago
59 Years
I will bless the Lord at all times: His praises shall continually be in my mouth. (Ps 34:1)
For in Him we live, and move, and have our
being; (Acts 17:28a).
All year long I have quoted the above scriptures because the more I talk about Him, the more I feel secure in Him. For we all must live, move and include God in everything that we do.
I thank God for another year, a blessed year, a healing year, a year of promises kept, a year of traveling grace and a year of peace and happiness. For God has granted all of us at some time favor. For as the song says, ”I’ve had some good days; I’ve had some hills to climb…But when I look around and I think things over, all of my good days outweigh my bad days, so I won’t complain.”
As we continue to walk this Christian journey, I pray that we all continue to grow in faith, love and hope. For we live during a time when hope and love is scarce among our brothers and sisters of this city. We look forward to the future praying always that the Good Temple Family will do what God has given us the ability to do; that is to make a difference in our families and our communities. For He has said in His word ”I (we) can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (us).” (Phil 4:13).
May God Bless Our Church Family,
Rev. Reuben E. Coleman, Jr., Pastor
